Through Confirmation 101, middle school students will be able to explore the Christian faith, ask questions, grow deeper in their relationship with God and, at the conclusion of the class, be given the choice of becoming a member of Simi Prez. Put another way, students have the opportunity to “confirm” the Christian faith in which they have been raised.
Simi Prez concludes Confirmation Class 101 with an over night X-Stream Retreat, often held in Ventura. The X-Stream Retreat is a continuation of the learning experience focusing on Ephesians 6:10-18 which discusses “the armor of God.” This passage provides a strong foundation from which students can become equipped to face the challenges of adolescence.
Meeting one evening a week, Confirmation Class 101 is offered every Fall, starting two weeks into the new school year.
