Recognizing that not everyone is the same, the Senior High Group offers a choice of entry points (listed below). If you’re a first time visitor, we encourage you to check out those types of events that you would feel most comfortable attending. Also, let us help you. Call ahead and let the youth department know you’re coming. We’ll be there to greet you and make sure you feel welcome.
Sunday’s Cool begins with announcements and a time of worship and prayer in which junior and senior high students all participate. Then junior and senior high students divide into separate rooms for lesson time. Sunday’s Cool is currently one of the highest attended programs the Simi Prez Youth Department offers.
Late Nite Friday Nite meets twice a month from 8:30-11:30 pm. The first hour is spent in worship and Divine Scripture study. Worship is immediately followed by video games, board games, food and friendship.
Small Groups typically meet in homes on their own schedules. Our small groups provide a more intimate setting for developing deeper faith and friendships, discussing scripture and receiving personal support.
The Senior Seminar is a special program designed especially for those who are about to become high school graduates. Seniors get together to discuss the emotional, intellectual, social, financial, and other changes and challenges they will be facing as they head off to college or the work place.
Simi Prez at Moorpark College is a weekly lunchtime gathering for high school students who are enrolled in the Simi High at Moorpark College program.
Service Projects and Mission Trips
Senior High students participate in local service projects, urban plunges to inner city LA and San Francisco, mission trips to Mexico and IMPACT.
Special Events include summer camp outs, amusement parks, Forest Home Winter Camp, digi photo scavenger hunts, broom ball. Keep in touch with the latest senior high calendar.
