Worship at Simi Valley Presbyterian Church
Music and Worship
Saturday at 5:30pm and Sunday at 8:00 and 9:30am our contemporary worship celebrations feature the Simi Prez Worship Team. Our Sunday 11:15am "classic" service is a more traditional worship experience, featuring organ, piano, hymns, bell choir and vocal and instrumental soloists and ensembles.

Positive, Practical Messages
You'll hear positive, practical, biblical messages that deal with the everyday issues we all face. We explore God's truth in a variety of ways through our message series. Some series are thematic: "How God Meets Your Deepest Needs," "God is Closer Than You Think," and "Winning the Battles You Can't Afford to Lose." Other series are in-depth explorations of scripture like "David: Behind the Music," "Extreme Makeover: The Lives and Legends of the Twelve," and "The Life of Paul: Every Saint Has a Past, Every Sinner Has a Future." At Christmas and Easter, our series have a seasonal focus. While we offer both contemporary and classic worship styles, the message is the same at all four services.

Baptism and Communion
The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is celebrated the first weekend of each month at all services, and on other special days. The Sacrament of Baptism, signifying incorporation into Jesus Christ and His church, is an outward and visible sign of God's grace. Acknowledging the Bible's teaching that there is "one body" and "one baptism" (Ephesians 4.4-6), we recognize all baptisms administered by other Christian churches. In other words, you do not have to be "re-baptized" in order to become a member of Simi Prez. However all new members, whether they are being baptized or are joining by reaffirmation of faith, profess their own personal faith in Jesus Christ.
